Three places the sheet contradicts itself

Two kerb weights, 4,300 kg apart

The weights group publishes a curb weight of 14,500 kg and a chassis curb weight of 10,200 kg. Both are labelled as published figures on the same sheet. The 4,300 kg between them is roughly what a 5.8 m NM450 body and its hoist weigh, but the sheet never says so, and no payload row exists to settle it.

Two overall lengths, 840 mm apart

Overall dimensions read 8,390 × 2,495 × 3,400 mm; chassis dimensions read 7,550 × 2,495 × 3,200 mm. Width matches, length and height do not. A body that overhangs the chassis by 840 mm is plausible on a tipper, but the sheet does not mark which figure the order is built to.

Three final drives offered, one fitted

Gradeability and top speed are each given three times, against ratios of 4.76, 5.26 and 5.92 — 41, 47 and 55 per cent, and 99, 90 and 80 km/h. The rear axle actually published on the sheet is the 5.26 Mercedes-Benz cast axle, which points at 47 per cent and 90 km/h.

What the 55,000 kg figure is

The sheet carries two total-mass numbers: a GVW of 25,000 kg and a maximum design total mass of 55,000 kg. They are not the same kind of number. One is the mass the chassis is registered at; the other is what the running gear is designed to accept.
