Two hundred and twenty-eight vehicles are published on this site. Six of them carry an FOB figure. That is the first thing worth saying about FOB pricing here, and it is the reason this page exists: the figure is rare enough that finding it is the hard part, not negotiating it. Below, all six are set out with the listing price plotted against the published band, because in three cases the two numbers are the same number and in two cases they are not close at all.

Three of the six publish a band whose bottom edge is exactly the listing price: the medium cargo truck at USD 30,000 against 30,000–40,000, the ETX tractor at 45,000 against 45,000–60,000, and the ETX dumper at 50,000 against 50,000–60,000. In those three the listing price is the cheapest point of the FOB range, which is the pattern you would expect if the band represents configuration spread around one base price.

Two do not follow it. On the watering truck the listing reads USD 10,800 while the FOB band reads USD 5,000 to 7,000 — the listing price sits 3,800 above the top of its own band. On the mixer truck the listing reads USD 84,000 against a band of 60,000 to 70,000, a gap of 14,000. Neither sheet explains the difference, and it should not be read as an error: the two fields may have been written at different times or against different specifications. What can be said is that on these two the listing price is not the FOB price.

The one figure that is not a band

The Auman GTL 6×4 400 hp tractor is the sixth entry and the only one that publishes a single number: the price field reads (FOB) 61,800, and the listing price is USD 61,800. Same figure, written twice, with the incoterm named in brackets rather than a range given. It is also the only entry in the six that publishes a gross vehicle weight — 25,000 kg — and the only one whose sheet names a market at all, given as Asia.

What all six have in common

Four of the six are Euro II or Euro III, one is Euro V, and none is Euro VI. Five publish a named engine model. Only two publish axle loads — the watering truck at 5.5 t front and 10 t rear with a 4.875 ratio, and the mixer at 7.5 t front and 16 t rear at 4.8. The ETX dumper is the only one in the group that publishes no axle data and no fuel-tank note; its sheet carries the FOB band and nothing else on the driveline beyond the gearbox, an RTD11509C(Q) in iron.

What no FOB figure here includes

An FOB price covers the goods loaded on board at the named port. Nothing on any of these six sheets says which port, and nothing says what happens after the rail. Freight, marine insurance, terminal handling, destination charges and any duty or clearance cost are outside the term and outside these sheets. The listing price and the FOB band are both manufacturer figures to be confirmed against a written quotation; neither is a landed cost and neither should be used as one.
